Gaara's Ultimate Defense

When Gaara is talking to Sasuke in the 5 kage Summit,
Sasuke says something like: ''I see your Ultimate Defense is still working well''
But wasn't Gaara's Ultimate Defense from his Tailed Beast?
And Gaara just controlled the sand with his Chakra?
So how could he have an Ultimate Defense with no Tailed beast?​

Well this is just for the people that are saying that because the shukaku is gone, Gaara doesn't have his ultimate defense anymore. For those of you who don't know what his ultimate defense is, its when his sand automatically blocks for him without him moving a muscle. In part 1, it was believed it was the shukaku's doing. So naturally when he got it taken out of him, people thought Gaara defense was gone.

Wrong! we find out that its his mothers doing, her will is always protecting him, always has always will.

but even after this scan came out people were still denying that Gaara automatic sand defense was not from the shukaku. Well then i hope this past weeks manga cleared it up. Gaara is seen saving the mizukage and from behind susano try to hit him, and his sand blocks it, ON ITS OWN!

well now i hope theres no argument, and btw Shukaku is probably the only bijuu that had no positive effect on its Jinchuriki. All it did was keep Gaara up all night and make him thirsty for blood lol. Gaara chakra is still a lot, seeing as he's been fighting the whole war non stop. And his Sand control is the same or even BETTER then the shukaku itself.

actually if you look up in the Naruto Wiki then you will see that there is a actual technique Gaara has called ultimate defence that is a giant sort of fat looking weird thing made of the hardest minerals mixed into his sand
