Above we see Lee wince in Pain using the Lotus and Gaara notices and manages to escape within a split second.

There he is.

Within a split second he escaped from a high level Taijutsu attack and positioned himself hidden and behind Lee.

Just wanted to point out that even then Gaara wasn't as slow as people say. He was very cocky though about his defence, one of the main reasons why he doesn't move and favoures standing still.

I'm gonna add some more Gaara fun facts@

1: Since the Gokage Summit, nothing has broken or dented Gaara's defence.
2: Gaara has shown he is able to summon enough sand to cover Sunagakure & protect the entire of Division 4 in what appeared to be less than a second. While he was fighting.
3: Amaterasu doesn't affect Gaara,his sand blocks it.
4: Gaara was able to lift his sand above his fathers gold which is 20 times heavier than water & Oil. Which means he isn't that weak against either.

If anyone wants to dispute these facts, feel free.

Thanks guys.

He is a fast Shinobi & is excellent with weapons btw. He just chooses not to use them and favoures his own style.

no i aint.....garra could easily make an valley into a desert as seen in in the kimmimaro fight givivng him the same perks as being in a naturally made desert.
Any kunai minato throws at garra would be caught by garra's sand even if he isnt in a desert yet. He could bury the kunai or crush them making ftg useless.
When garra makes his desert there will be no where for minato to run.

Although Gaara can turn any terrain into a desert. He is not better than Minato. We know little about Minato really. But let's not get ahead of ourselves.

He deserves the respect he's earned but don't go too far or you'll attract negative attention.

We should assume making the desert consumes a huge amount of chakra.

Well. I like Gaara the most of all the Naruto cast, which is probably no surprise. But let's wait and see how he holds up against Madara when he's back to full strength.
He might really kick a$$. I'm kinda betting on Gaara either being the one who finishes Madara or the one who dies to defeat him & Seal him.

Obviously he is, because if Naruto could defeat him, then Jiraiya could defeat him, and because Minato was stronger than Jiraiya, it's obvious Minato could run circles around Gaara.

naruto defeat gaara in part 1, and j-man can beat gaara in the desert thanks to his oil, and minato need to summon bunta to cast oil and bunta is big and the battle in the desert so that's mean bunta will get squashed with sand and poof no more bunta, and u say minato will circle gaara then how come minato reach gaara in the air ?

It is very unlikely that Gaara would win againsy Minato.

The only thing I would say is that Gaara could bury all of Minato's Kunai which makes his FTG tech pretty useless.
If Minato tries to land a seal on Gaara, I'm sure Gaara could manage some sort of tactical way of making this an advantage to him.

Don't get ahead of urselves people. Gaara is great in many ways, but talking crap is not why I made this thread.

if anything the Kazekages are underrated

Gaara is almost unstoppable in the dessert

4th Kazekage is called weak by a lot of people because they think he got one shotted by oro, but if you look at the scan its show kimi and kabuto and all we saw was the final blow

and people seem to forget that the 4th kazekage fought the bijuu countless times and won

3rd kazekage IMO got trolled by kishi

in a fair fight there is no way sasori would be the 3rd kazekage, especially at 15

it must have been a sneak attack

i like Gaara where he is, he's not underrated or overrated he's just Gaara

but the kazekages as a whole and the sand village are underrated
