I was wondering if there is any chance that this kid is actually Gaara's son, not Kankuro's. We can see in the trailer that he manipulates a puppet, and we know that puppet manipulation is a Sunagakure fighting style.

Maybe he is Gaara's son and is being trained by uncle Kankuro? The reason that I'm thinking about this is because Kankuro may be not relevant enough to have a son, lol.
