If you really look at her scenes she isn't one to shown her true emotion, other than pride.
Like her scene with Jirayah, and Orochimaru, even with Naruto sometimes.

I feel the same. Gaara's dream would've been much better without Naruto making an appearance. :|

I dislike that too,but thats how Kishi rolls.
But in this case it was necessary for Naruto to be that friend in his dream,since he was the who reached out for him.
