All of that Sand and Protection he has been doing wasn't from the 1 Tail. It was from his Ma Ma.
It's amazing 'cause we all thought 1 Tail was that good, but really, it was his Ma Ma giving him that Power.
I'm just impressed at how the 1 Tail just gave him a little more of the killing intent until Naruto Talk no Jutsu'd him.

Gaara and Naruto were truely alike 'cause atleast one of their parents cared about them to the point that they would give them special boosts to protect them at all costs. I actually like Gaara out of all sand Ninja.

I couldn't stand him in part 1. When he would do that big creepy smile it used to piss me off. I agree with you tho. His character is one of the more developed in the series. He's pretty cool
