Gaara was a perfect jin? (or at least almost)

He transformed fully into shukaku.
It was said that he couldnt use the full power of shukaku though, thats why he used the forced sleep jutsu.
However, he was capable of transforming completely into his bijou, while remaining in control.

So what was gaara? perfect jin? Almost perfect jin?

GARA DIDNT CONTROL OR BOND WITH SHUKAKU HE JUST SURENDERED HIS BODY JUST LIKE NARUTO AND HIS RED CLOAK....HE CAN HANDLE IT AND STAY HIMSELF UP TO A POINT (FOR NARUTO IT WAS 3 TAILS I THINK) AND THEN THE BEAST TAKES OVER

Naruto wasnt in control when he transformed into kurama vs pain and it wasnt even a full transformation.
Gaara was able to transform completely into shukaku and gaara was still in control.
After that he used forced sleep technique, because shukaku in control, apparently gave acces to more power.

gara wasnt in control of shukaku.....he was at first when he started being taken over ( naruto could control it up to three tails aswell) gara just lost control to the shikaku nothing else

gara wasnt in control of shukaku.....he was at first when he started being taken over ( naruto could control it up to three tails aswell) gara just lost control to the shikaku nothing else

gaara transformed into the full shukaku and was still in control. Please reread the manga.

That is why i put ''almost'' in the title.
Because gaara was able to turn completely into his bijou, without losing control.
Gaara is the one in control, when he transforms into shukaku and he willingly gave up that control after the first clash with gamabunta, by using forced sleep technique.

- he cant communicate with shukaku that we seen
- he had to surrender him self to it to get it to come out
- as he was pushed harder it came out so im pretty sure gara even said he had never done a full transformaion b4
- once he was woken up shukaku disapeared

gara had next to no control over his tailed beast and far far from perfect now i ge what your trying to say but the answer is no gara was far from aperfect jin

also that full form just proved how weak shikaku is....naruto lost control after 3 trails meaning 4 tails kurama is more powerful then shukaku because all that happened is shukaku power wasnt enough to overwhel gara

but gara cannout tranform at will like th other perfect jin.....naruto and bee just go beast mode gara had to do some 20 minute ritual to bring it out

meaning he did really do it ...the harder he was pushed the more it came out just like naruto back in the day whe he got pushed more and more tails started comming out until he couldnt control it anymore

Yeah, thats why i listed the option ''almost perfect jin''.
Because they dont seem to be buddies, but gaara is capable of turning into shukaku without losing control.

ya but you cant even be considered almost perfect if you cant even communicate with your bijuu

again as i said gara didnt loose control because shukaku chakra is so weak he could handle it


i get what you mean i really do but gara was not nor was he close to being a perfect jin

He did have control over it, in its full mode(check the links i gave a few posts above). Gaara faught a while in shukaku his full mode (a few attacks vs gamabunta) and after that he surrenderd with forced sleep.

But gaara didnt had a friendly bond with shukaku. One would take over the other. Shukaku if gaara was asleep. Gaara if gaara was awake. So one could consider it not a perfect jin, because of that.
