First if your going to reply to this post PLEASE give an explanation of why you think someone would win instead of just saying the easily take this because everyone will have there own opinion but I'm more interested in why you think they would win instead of who.

Who takes this and why?

I say gaara wins this battle mid-dif because his defense is too good. His sand is faster than Tsunde so not only will she not be able to avoid getting caught she would not be able to damage him because of the distance he can keep between them. Even if she summons that slug it won't be much of a problem because gaara can make a desert and defend and attack at the same time.

Your underestimating katsuyu . she can split apart , is big and spits acid . Katsuyu tanked almighty push .

Tsunade was capable of shattering Madara's Susano'o. Gaara's sand stands no chance against her.

Tsunade simply has too much experience and raw power for Gaara to handle. Plus he has no way of killing her if she is in Byakugou. Tsunade's body is too strong to be crushed, and if Gaara tries to smother her, Tsunade can simply summon Katsuya.

Tsunade takes this high diff.

Gaara is overrated, it doesn't mean he isn't powerful
But Tsunade is a descendant of the sage and uzimaki, and have a strong life force, and vast chakra
She is mosterously strong without the use of chakra
She stated herself she can die in battle with the yin seal
If she's stuck under ground she can summon her slug to break through or summon some stregth to blast her way through.
She crafty, she probably will have or already have a plan to defeat Gaara
She a medic she probably will know his weaknesses.

Oh a btw i was thinking about the rock lee fight that why he sand looked slow because rock lee was so fast, and what Gaara sand is this demon or mother?

Katsuyu has the worst feats of any summon in manga, why are people spouting BS about Katsuyu she shouldn't even be a factor. Gaara floats in the air, creates a desert, then from there the fight goes downhill. Gaara is the clear favorite in this match-up.

okay i went to the beach yesterday, and I was in the sand , and the sand is pretty hard to move in lol, so I guess Tsunade woud have trouble being curshed by the sand. the only way her or sakura can defeat Gaara is if they learn gen jutsu.

Sand is fast enough to keep up with Amaterasu....so it's wayyyy faster than Tsunade so she isn't out running it and Sand blocked raikage's kick and raikage >>>> Tsunade physically meaning she isn't out powering him so I don't see her winning

Tsunade could win if she wasn't so careless when using Byakugou. The only way for her to win is to avoid everything he can throw at her, which I believe she can do, and outlasting Gaara with her superior chakra reserves.

Gaara easily defeats Tsunade if she fights like she does in the manga.
