Gaara vs tsunade

First if your going to reply to this post PLEASE give an explanation of why you think someone would win instead of just saying the easily take this because everyone will have there own opinion but I'm more interested in why you think they would win instead of who.

Who takes this and why?

I say gaara wins this battle mid-dif because his defense is too good. His sand is faster than Tsunde so not only will she not be able to avoid getting caught she would not be able to damage him because of the distance he can keep between them. Even if she summons that slug it won't be much of a problem because gaara can make a desert and defend and attack at the same time.

Gaara's sand tanked a slash from PS, Tsunade barely managed to tank a piece of wood. Hell, P1 Gaara could beat her.

Gaara is too over rated, he doesn't even have his demon anymore, and beside it pretty hard to believe sand could kill Tsunade who can just punch through it and heal from the injuries, and besides his sand is slow and she's a medic she can easily evade his attacks. Tsunade mid-difficult, all she need is one punch and it over sand armor or not.

It's possible for her to hit him, if Tsunade uses her yin seal + chakra control she should be able to enhance to stregth powerful enough to punch through his shield and hit him through it.

Sand is fast enough to keep up with Amaterasu....so it's wayyyy faster than Tsunade so she isn't out running it and Sand blocked raikage's kick and raikage >>>> Tsunade physically meaning she isn't out powering him so I don't see her winning

That's why I said I know your decision would be bias. Gaara sand has never been slow. Kimimaro and lee from part 1 is faster than current tsuande and they couldnt escape gaara sand so I'm postive she gets caught fairly easily. and she won't survive being crushed or put 100 meters into the ground where she can't move.

btw if gaara is overrated why was he chosen to lead the army vs tobi instead of 1 of the other kages or someone else

Gaara is one of the few underrated characters.
Tsunade can't live if she is crushed, take a look at Rock Lee for example. When she went to go check on him what did she say?
No, she physically can't move if sand is covering every inch of her body.
How can she compete with someone who controls the earth practically? He can grind his sand against minerals to create more like he did with Kimimaro.
His weakness is his sand armor because it takes up a lot of chakra to maintain it. Also gold dust but, how is she going to use that?

Gaara > Tsunade.

If she's stuck underground she can't summon anything because she won't be able to move. She's not like kimimaro who was able to break out because he can control all his bones just by thinking and making them harder. Without any long range attacks gaara is her worst nightmare because like someone else said he could float in the air the entire match but he wouldn't need to his sand would catch her first jutsu he uses.
