Gaara vs. Tsunade and Mei. It's all I have read. It wasn't stated if it was Shukaku Gaara or War Arc Gaara so I used the Gaara version that I prefer. Bot have been shown in Shippuden so I don't see what's your problem with me using Shukaku Gaara? :|

Part 2 Gaara has better defense and in the scan you posted, Gaara used a very thin layer of Sand to defend himself from Lee's attacks. Not comparable.

It was never ever stated in the op that this is current Gaara nor that this was War Arc Gaara. I was allowed to use any version of Gaara that I liked. Get over it. Go ahead and use 30 year old Tsunade. I couldn't care less.

Gaara takes this pretty easily.
Lets start with Tsunade, sure her punches pack some force but she is also slow as hell compared to his sand. Sheer strength is not getting through is sand. Now if this were A or Gai they could pretty readily i think, but not Tsunada and Mei. Plus all it takes is a getting caught by his sand in melee range and its time for a sand burial.
He can fight this battle with third eye while hovering safely on his cloud above the reach of suiton/yonton and end them with Sand Tsunamai.

These two are just out matched by Gaara, like i said make it A vs Gaara if you want to give him a real challenge from the Go-kage.

Was referring more to their speed than anything. A and Might Gai both have the speed to by-pass his sand like Rock Lee did in Pt.1. And frankly you need both as a cqc fighter to hit gaara, Tsunade only has the strength.

Sand works differently than a solid mass like Sussano. The sand will absorb an impact dampening the force and slowing it to a halt. Its like kicking a mound of dirt vs a brick wall.

Don't even bring Lee vs Gaara for the sake of Tsunade here for 2 reasons:
-That was part 1 Gaara who is vastly inferior to current one.
-Tsunade's taijutsu style is completely different from Lee's. Just because she is overall stronger as a shinobi it does not mean she would be accomplish anything Lee would be capable of. She is not a speedsetter like; Lee or she does not have an attack pattern that resemble Lee's in the usage of speed, she has linear bursts of speed instead of manouvring around like Lee in case of fighting and attacking.

Mei Will get sunk into desert. Her scale can't compete to Gaara's usage of sand; amount of sand he uses would overcome anything exists in Mei's arsenal. Mist is useless, Gaara attacks and defends from distance anyway. Also mist can't corrode masses of sand which sinks deep under from God knows how many meters of ground.
