Gaara vs sm naruto (read first)

Gaara will surely have a hard time but he might win. Okay here are d details. Location: desert intent:to kill condition:naruto has sage mode and gaara has his full defence and offence.

even in the desert i still give it to naruto, frog taka does not have to make contact to land a hit, is not using his own chakra, and can feel all chakra around him. Gaara is at disadvantage even in the desert

he can make the terrain into a desert...it may take some time but he could do it relatively fast. Though it wouldnt be the size of a naturally made desert.

I know Gaara can change the landscape, but a real desert is much better than anything Gaara can make. Like you said it would pan out much further, it would also be much deeper, it would take no effort on Gaara's part, and unless the opponent can get off the ground he will always be standing on sand making Desert Coffin a piece of cake. Gaara was able to capture The Second Mizukage, The Fourth Kazekage, and The Third Raikage with relative ease. So focusing on one opponent who isn't an Edo ain't jack.

I choose Naruto.

Gaara is my fav an all but even in the desert I would back Naruto Sage Mode. Naruto has too much resilience & his Rasenshuriken would only need to make contact once to defeat Gaara.
As I say, I love Gaara but this fight goes to Naruto.

I would also add that my decision has nothing to do with Naruto having beaten Pain as when Naruto did this there were too many outside factors to consider.

In a desert, Gaara wins.

Naruto can use Rasenshuriken, but Gaara's absolute defence(his mom) can block it.

It managed to block about a dozen Yasaka's Magatama with help from Oonoki's rock golem.Blocking one rasenshuriken won't be a big problem.

Gaara's Sabaku Kyuu can do a lot of damage to Naruto, I don't see how he can block it.

Sage mode runs out once Naruto has used 2 Rasenshuriken.

Gaara has control over the terrain, and he can use his quicksand to eliminate Naruto.

Naruto would win if he was in KM, but SM? In a desert?
No.

Gaara can turn the landscape into sand,so it doesn't really matter if there's a dessert or not. Gaara beats sm Naruto anywhere and anytime.
