It was tsukyomi , and sasuke used tsukyomi twice.....
Only tsukyomi hits the eye back with side effects..

Normal genjutsu don't cause side effects..

Sorry buddy. But any use of MS causes the eye side effects. I won't dispute the possibility that it may have been Tsukuyomi, cause I can't say no for cert. But you can't be sure it was either. Also, judging by the level of tech, it would not be a big deal to Gaara.

If the Tsukuyomi causes so much damage and only a blood related member of the Uchiha clan can break free. Then how come Danzo and Bee got out?

I'm just saying, too much evidence it was not Tsukuyomi.

? , Anyone can break a tsukyomi once someone disrupts your chakra...
ITACHI'S tsukyomi cant be broken like that, because as kakashi said, it happens in an instant.....Starts and ends in 1 second... thus he said there is no cancellation of it... sasuke's tsukyomi can't control perception of time...as danzo said....

Bee clearly stated his hachibi was the external source that got him out of tsukyomi.... and look closly at the scan.. the moment sasuke was stuck in danzos parlysis seal the tsukyomi ended on danzo

Did you see sasuke holding his eyes when he cast the normal genjutsu on shee? or the kumagakure ninja?

Did you see itachi holding his eyes after using NORMAL genjutsus? no he used many.....
Amaterasu makes the eye its used from bleed, tsukyomi delivers pain and side effects and you hold your eye after using it....Clearly stated...
