No on believes in Gaara? I feel like even though Oro was OP and a Sanin, there were times when he was getting his butt beat a little and to me it seems like he reaches his limit quickly and gets distracted with the idea of get little boys idk...

I wouldn't say it's downgrading. I think the next generation should be stronger. And also I'm talking about when Gaara still had the 1 tail in him. Personally I didn't vote for either because I don't know who would win, but if either did I think it'd be with difficulty. Oro does always seem to throw up some magic and pull through though....

I wouldn't say it's downgrading. I think the next generation should be stronger. And also I'm talking about when Gaara still had the 1 tail in him. NONONONONO!!!! I didn't say that the next generation IS stronger, I said they should try to be stronger, like I would hope the next generation of kids will be smarter than their parents.

Oro, of course. why do u underestimate oro's abilities. do u know in the 1st part he posed the single most greatest threat to konoha. His hobby was also learning kinjutsus. He was the 2nd shinobi to learn to use impure world resurrection. he had kusanagi which would have cut thru gaara's sand like knife thru butter. Even in a weakened state he toyed with 4tailed naruto. He was most probably the strongest of the sanin.
Fans tend to disregard him because of the scene showing him being easily defeated by itachi which i think is an unfair portrayal. Personally, i don't think itachi will even find it easy against any of the 3 sannin and i'm sure jiraiya would have defeated itachi in a battle. Oro's only weakness was his phobia of death and his obsession with conquering it.

1) Just because I posted the thread doesn't mean that I don't believe in Oro or think he's weak.
2) Oro left the Akatsuki because Itachi was stronger than him. And that's straight from Oro's mouth that isn't a fan delusion.

That's all true and fine I was just saying the goal (should be) of a teacher is to make the next generation greater and that it might be possible that some of our beloved characters are on their way to achieving that goal.
