I think that Oonoki would win high difficulty, since he can fly (So can gaara on his sand) Though Oonoki is quite skilled and his Dust/Earth release in my mind surpasses everyone else in that field, Gaara's sand is powerful but he can't stop Dust.

As long as his back doesn't go out Onoki will beat Gaara 9 times out of 10. Dust Release is just too much.

oonoki is super ****in op... i mean sub atomic jutsu that turns u into nothingness short of madara who even more op or sum super fast ninja who is also op which would be naruto, a, or minato. theres no reason that gaara should win.

I feel that Gaara sand defense can probably protect him from Onoki's Jinton.

I give to Gaara High difficulty.

I think he kills Onoki with his Giant Sand Coffin.

I'm sure that Gaara is aware of that technique and since shippuden started he has never attacked from one position(see vs deidara or mizukage). He's very skilled in making clones so he could fool Oonoki.Also his sand is really fast.He won't allow Oonoki to try jinton many times.
It'd be an epic battle.

I don't know why people are saying Gaara would win. Oonoki is a lot faster than Gaara's sand in the air and his jinton would dust Gaara regardless if there's sand in the way. The only problem is Oonoki's back so I'd say he wins 8/10.

Gaara has been saving Ohnoki since the war started and finished all the enemies they have been fighting together....I don't care who wins but I think Gaara should be given more credit here....

gaaras been fighting in the war alongside onoki so he knows his capabilities. he wont walk into jinton, but rather send out sand clones and sand hands first. if he attacks from below he can catch onoki off guard and stop him flying away. the power of sand funeral can crush the golems. and if he forms his giant mother shield he should be able to make her take a jinton hit for him along with the clone. people forget you can stop jinton by stopping onokis hand movements. so either genjutsu or physically restraining him from behind

The same can be said of Onoki. He can use rock clones which will be impervious to Gaara's sand attacks. Also Onoki in the air is very fast so I have no doubt he can avoid Gaara's attacks by speed or by jintoning the sand away. He could also make it extremely heavy thereby making it useless for Gaara to use.

Also jinton covers a huge radius and will destroy a lot of sand, sand clones and Gaara himself.

Onoki takes this mid difficulty.
