Gaara should be more than capable of winning this with the location and distance.
i also think gaara can win this, but 100 meters are nothing that much.
Minato high-difficulty, only because it's in a desert. Gaara has no way of hurting Minato... FTG gets him out of literally every sand bind possible. Furthermore, Food Cart Destroyer wreaks havoc.

Gaara buries his FTG kunais 200 meters underground.
How does he do that when every Kunai and cone present would be within the Sand Tsunami's AOE?
And then Minato teleports them right back in his hands making it a wasted effort.
Summoning? Shunshin?
What? You do realise that it is a low-effort task for Gaar to crush these FTG Kunai's, right? 200 meters beneath the ground means there's already enough pressure to destroy them, whereas Gaara can opt to use a natural sand coffin and break them as well. All the while, Minato isn't touching Gaara, and if he has to FTG 50 kunai's to himself every time, he'll be out of chakra in mere seconds (assuming he notices them being broken, since Gaara can smash them one by one).
Summoning is doing what? It isn't getting past this [You must be registered for see links], even if he can jump over it, Gaara is still controlling his sand and can have it follow such a massive target easily, then go on to crush him with a sand coffin. Minato either wastes his chakra or lets him die, either way, he won't be useful for another one of lower scale. Shunshin is doing nothing imo. Gaara can manipulate as much sand as he wants simultaneously, hence while the Tsunami is going to occur, usage of sand drizzle [You must be registered for see links] allows him to take control of Minato's standing position to prevent shunshin, whereas Hirashin will only be detrimental in this case, as he would get crushed by the incoming Sand Tsunami.

I mean... assuming Gaara is close enough to the ground to locate every single small kunai that can easily sink or partially sink under the surface of sand; You do realize it's an even lower-effort task (Not to mention much faster) for Minato to teleport his kunai back to him before Gaara locates them and attempts to crush them all. Also, this might be a little controversial, but Minato should be able to transfer chakra into the sand, which would make this fight much easier for him.
If, well, when Gaara opts into utilizing his sand tsunami, he blocks his line of site and can no longer see Minato. On the flip side, Minato is a sensor and can sense out Gaara's location. So in this scenario, Minato can simply utilize foot cart destroyer on top of Gaara to crush him. Clone feints and/or sand shields aren't saving him since he can't see Minato, thus won't anticipate this happening. Again, Gaara loses track of Minato... So I think Minato, with sufficient feats in this department, will be able to successfully shunshin out of the tsunami's AoE and avoid a sand tsunami...but I could be wrong. I like the food cart destroyer tactic better anyways lol.
Edit: Forgot to mention S/T barrier as well.
Since when can Minato sense in that way? Last I checked he could only sense Kyuubi's chakra, which the whole of Team Taka could without being sensors, and sense how many enemies there were by putting his finger on the ground. Don't see how that will allow him to sense someone airborne. So no, he isn't doing anything of the sort.
If Minato tags the sand Gaara can move the sand to an area that is most advantageous to him. (Possibly mix the tag to the bottom of the sand)Eventually Minato realizes that he doesn't need kunai's but can tag the sand. Add the fact that if the sand is directly touching Gaara it's warping Gaara away. This acts only as a moment of hinder so Minato doesn't see this as a problem he can't solve.
