Thing is those are true, all but the water, and more than likely flying (not 100% sure). Even if Kakuzu could fly, Gaara's Sand speed, and the sheer ranges it covers >>>>>>> Kakuzu's possible flight scenario.

It's ultimately a stale-mate of who has more Chakra, and in this case it's Gaara. Literally burying Kakuzu will prove to be futile, as Domu tanks all of his sand attacks.
