he can use a suiton jutsu and gaara's sand is useless and kakashi wins.
kakashi is must more flexible in jutsus and has more experience than gaara.

gaara didnt defeat him him they clashed sand and gaara subdued him with the other kage but they escaped gaara hasnt beaten him. if it came to a real fight gaara is not yet on the level of his father.
plus the only reasdon he has that tiitle is cuz all the kages are the leaders

Eh no. They fought and Gaara surprised his father with new skills. He is almost undestructable, and he can just fly away and attack Kakashi from long range.
