That was in part 1, In part 1 Deidara's explosisves would have easily made it through.

Anime is canon in this case, it simply goes in greater detail then the manga in this particular fight.

Even though it may seems small look closely and you see bits of the sand falling off, the anime goes into greater detail. Deidaras bomb dont have raw cutting power and such focused penetrating power like chidor. I believe yasaka magatama will be able to get through it.

what? anime is canon in this case, what happened in the anime is the same thing that happened in the manga during the fight. You clearly see bits and pieces of the sand falling off in the manga also in the anime, like i said the anime simply goes in greater detail.

smh.. i was merely trying to say that the bomb made damage.. but whatever as i clearly pointed out that amaterasu will get on the dome which means gaara obviously isnt safe in the dome. Then comes the fact that he can do

Damage that isn't notable. Its like saying that when you scratch yourself flakes of your skin come off.

The sand already makes those motions. You can't melt sand, it becomes glass. Which obviously didn't happen.

But it showed the c3 making damage which means multiple continuous yaska magatamas will get the job done. FFS when i said melt i didnt mean literally, i meant the sand became droopy and made it unstable which eventually made it break apart. A large scale amaterasu will make the sand manipulation more difficult

C3 never hit Gaara. The Sand already makes those motions, Amaterasu wasn't the cause of it.

ffs my apologies i didnt mean c3 i meant that little clay bomb, i got mixed up. I disagree if you look at the sand it clearly looks droopy. similar to what the mizukage did to gaaras sand.

Itachi takes this fight with relative ease.

Gaara was already canonically outclassed by an uchiha. Putting him up against a far stronger uchiha with far better techniques would just lead to death. Plus; Brute force can get through his auto-sand, which is going to be the brunt of his defence.

I understand that the majority time the sand is in a droopy like state , but i find it plausible myself that the amaterasu and the heat pressure made the sand get REAL droopy. btw it wasnt droopy here[

Susano'O is of little consequence to Gaara as he has multiple ways to attack Itachi or restrain Susano'O whilst said Jutsu is active.
