Without the Buddha, Gaara and Shukaku take this high difficulty.

Hashirama can use his Wood Dragon to absorb the chakra from Gaara's sand and then proceed to generate a Senjutsu teemed enhanced Amazon rain forest that will overpower the non-chakra based sand and incapacitate the Shukaku, all of which will spell out G-G.

Hashirama wins no difficulty. His Mokujin annihilates Gaara let alone Shinsusenju. As for Shukaku, wood dragon binds it and suppresses its power so it becomes a non factor.

Jukai Koutan, Hashirama's signature technique, which instantly spawns forests of massive scale, change the desert terrain into a forest terrain so Gaara will have a hard time using wide scale sand attacks. Bijuudama is redirected back at Gaara and Shukaku and wind bullets are tanked by Hashirama's defences with no effort.

If for whatever reason, Hashirama gets caught in a sand coffin, even though he won't since he is going to be elevated on his massive mokuton structures and can bat away sand with wood, he can grow mokuton out of his body to break out of sand coffin.

Hashirama Senju is clearly superior to Gaara.

Giving Gaara the power of Shukaku will not exactly change the outcome of the fight... Hashirama Senju can suppress not only the chakra of Bijuus, but also the chakra of the opponent he is facing. Hashirama Senju can create gigantic Wooden Hands that erupt upward from beneath the ground, which encircle and restrain the chosen target. He can create an enormous statue-like Wooden humanoid creature with a Wooden Dragon wrapped around its torso, which is capable of catching a Bijuu Dama & returning it to its target. But above all, he can summon a disastrously big many-Wooden handed Buddha which could dwarf the Nine-Tails... It was almost ten times its size and it defeated the formidable combination of: Nine-Tails + Perfect Susano.

As for the field advantage you gave to Gaara, this is of no practical relevance. Hashirama could simply emerge an entire Forest right there and then, after blossoming its flowers and vastly spreading its polls.

In addition, Hashiramas skill in medical ninjutsu is equal to that of Tsunades, meaning he can heal himself without having to make hand-signs. He could regenerate all of his woundings as long as he still obtains the necessary amount of chakra required; And we both know Gaara is in no position to outlast Hashirama; the reincarnation of Ashura; the God of Shinobi...

This is not even a real match in my eyes...

Lmao how so? Hashirama could literally just drop Gate after Gate on Gaara...

No he can't, while in battle he can use only three gates and he loses Senjutsu. Gaara can destroy the ground effortlessly without even hand movement, and proceed for offense.

Have you forgot that Hashirama can RESTRAIN Tailed Beast. Giving Gaara the Shukaku is only making Hashi's job easier.

Restraining Shukaku means by draining his Chakra, which is useless since he looses his form while he passes out and turns to sand, expanding Gaara's territory and his arsenal by tenfold at least.

Um, no since Gaara has Shukaku in him whatever chakra the Shukaku loses, Gaara loses too.

Um, no since Gaara has Shukaku in him whatever chakra the Shukaku loses, Gaara loses too.

Firstly, in the MU conditions it was never defined whether he was a Jinchuriki or not, and since this is current Gaara who has not only Shukaku with him, but isn't a Jinchuriki either the closest assumption would be them being separate. Secondly, the sources of Chakra are different, Shukaku has his own reserves while Gaara is the same. He wouldn't lose them since Gaara isn't the one really restrained nor the one being by physical contact drained.

Doesn't matter if Gaara is jinchuriki or not, the result is the same. Hashi wins low diff.
