The Hawk probably isn't faster but Sasuke can use the Hawk pretty effectively if the battle does take place in the air.

amaterasu soloes. gaara's sand blocked enton which travels from a starting orb of amaterasu. regular amaterasu can be formed and shot before gaara's sand would react. sasuke low diff

sand sphere nullifies amaterasu,if it hits,sand armour makes it useless.
Susanoo arrow?,you mean the one that got stopped by 3 chakra rods is gonna pierce a defence than tanked susanoo swords?.

So sasuke's hawk can hold sasuke and a v3 susanoo?.

All this is assuming gaara just watched sasuke summon a hawk and fly away from the desert floor
