well since the fight is in sunagakure, gaara has locational advantage.

Gaara can rip sasuke off his susano.
he can protect himself from amaterasu coz of his sand.
idk about tsukiyomi though.

but gaara can actually win this.

Being IN Sunagakure is a disadvantage for Gaara, this is why Deidara outlasted him. If Sasuke wants, because he is EMS he could spam Amaterasu or Susano'o arrows at the village to distract Gaara if he wanted. but it's whatever because in a fight to the death i doubt he would.

This has been debated before and Ive given lengthy arguments for it but I ddont feel like doing it again so i will just say that either one is capable for beating the other

sasuke wins people make it seem like it's easy to take someone out of susanoo it's not madara was facing 5 kages together and together they all helped to pull him out... its not so easy

Gaara takes this his sand can pull Sasuke out of susano. Even if he uses the susano arrows Gaara can easily block them with his sand protective wall it was able to block Deidara's C3 bombs so it should easily block them. Gaara's sand was has already proven to be able to block amaterasu's and sand pyramid would easily crush susano with Sasuke in it. Gaara probadly wins this with not much diff.

gaara in the dsert has proven to be a monster. susano swords from madara couldnt beat him. a meteor couldnt beat him. and hes already taken madara out of susano. amaterasu cant burn his sand armour. in this location he will immediately take to the air, and be out of genjutsu range. but knowing sasuke, he wont risk the big sand dome. instead he will do a constant barrage of missiles and clones as well as trying to trap sasuke in a pyramid once hes forced into immobile susano.

your right he wasnt. it was only onoki and gaara, both dying of exhaustion.
