I believe Deidara won the last battle against Gaara, but that was above the village. An aeial Deidara also lost against a grounded Hebi Sasuke. So I don't think he can take this one.

I'd say Gaara. His defensive techniques are good for a free-for-all, while he can block amaterasu with sand and Sasuke would negate many of Deidara's bombs with lightning. Plus Gaara seems calm enough to let the other two fight while he protects himself in the wait for the kill.

Gaara cannot beat neither he most likely be the first to die because the backlash of deidara and sasuke going at it

In the air I say deidara because he has numerous flying bombs but sasuke maybe able to set up kirin quicker so idk

I don't think kirin is a viable option here. Sasuke is at the most disadvantage here as he has flown on his summon, like once. There's no way he'll have the time (or experience in the air) to be shooting fire or amaterasu up into the air in a free-for-all with Deidara and Gaara.

Do u even know how kirin is set up ?

He attacks & attacks some more the Whole time his opponents are not aware that those attacks are distractions / setup moves for kirin... And if u read the manga u will see how quick it is setup... it takes almost less than a minute

Using Kirin wouldn't make sense imo, I think the clouds would be too close and you know Kirin goes right about Sasuke's head so that'll be bad. And idk wtf that guy is talking about that Gaara can't block Kirin:shrug:

Gaaras, sand isn't fast enough to block sasuke's physical attacks or kirin & amaretsu

Then susanoo jewels & arrows, chidori, great dragon fire, chidori esiou and kirin all get pass gaaras sand

Most of deidara's bigger bombs get through gaaras sand aswell

Gaara's sand has blocked Sasuke's amaterasu before, and it hasn't gotten any faster since then. Sasuke's amaterasu sword probably couldn't even reach Gaara as they fly around, and his arrows I don't think he could aim properly in flight. Chidori can't get through sand mom. Fire just no. The long chidori maybe but as we've seen in the fight with Deidara it has a limit. I've already pretty much refuted kirin, okay? Deidara's bombs haven't gotten more powerful, but Gaara's sand has... he isn't blasting through.

Like I've said, obviously Sasuke is formidable, but he doesn't have enough experience in the air. If this was a land battle I might give it to him. Anyway, I doubt this would be Deidara and Sasuke vs Gaara... Deidara would go after Sasuke as he's the one who basically killed him. Sasuke would be forced to fight with him. Gaara would defeat whoever won.

Sasuke hasn't shown how good he is at fighting in an all-aerial battle. Being able to fly isn't the same as being able to fight well in the sky.

Chidori nagashi(which doesn't defend that well and he's not getting close to them)
Kirin(which needs clouds, a fireball, and time to get ready/ plus he wouldn't be close enough to hit them)
Snake summons(which can't fly and wouldn't hurt clay or sand)
He's flying on a hawk (which wouldn't be too troublesome to blow up or tear apart with sand arms)
Amaterasu(which Gaaras sand CAN block/ sasuke can't hit what he can't see and the sand can just be thrown away before it is burned away)
True Spear(which also won't reach)
Tsukiyomi(which is a weaker version and I doubt anyone will be looking at his eye/Deidara's eye can stop Genjutsu anyway)

Gaara in the air:
Huge sand configurations which follow his will
Extra powerful sand(the sand in his gourd, because it soaks in his chakra it is faster and stronger)
Flying fighting experience(less than Deidara but more than Sasuke)
Can make more sand easily(even controlling half a desert)


I say Deidara owns sasuke Quickly(because he can't land) then the fight resumes from last time, but now Deidara has no citizens to hold hostage/

IMO Gaara takes it mid/high difficulty
