A rematch of an older fight. The location and starting distance is now Sasuke vs Deidara, so as to not give Gaara the terrain advantage; but he also doesn't have to protect his village from massive C3 bombs.

I'd say fighting in the Desert is a bigger factor than protecting the village. All he did was send sand to tank c3. Deidiara outsmarted him in that fight with the bugs.

Deidara: Gaara beats him this go round his strongest bomb (suicide) got tanked by manda skin Gaara sand defense>>>>> manda skin in terms of defense , his nano bombs require to b in close range that's something that will never happen against Gaara even deidara said he would never go into close range with an opponent like Gaara... Also sneaking bombs in his sand won't work cuz his sand senses now....

Gaara won't fall for same trick twice and with his sand being able to sense movement it wouldn't work anyway ....

I really do fail to c how deidara tanks current Gaara ..... Yes nano bombs would work but 1 he needs to get in close combat with Gaara something he can't do ... 2 he already said he wouldn't go into close combat with someone like him who can attack from all sides at once or something like tht so will proceed to fight the battle long range like before ..... Gaara received no damage in that fight UNTIL his village got targeted and deidara slipped bombs into his gourd sand .. Something he cannot not do now since it senses

So can someone please explain how does deidara trick him or what ever to win battle ?

Gaara lost at first match because of Deidara's tricks. If they were to fight again he wouldn't fall for similar trick. Gaara is smart shinobi as we have seen so far.

Sand sensing means deidara's past trick is useless
flight renders c4 useless,and since c3 is an air-to-ground move,it is rendered useless as well
c2 dragon is too big,it gets one shotted
all deidara has is c1 which wont hurt gaara.

I meant he can primarily fight with just his gourd sand and not create or use extra sand unless he absolutely needs it because none of Deidara's bombs get past his gourd sand except C3 but that's not hitting a flying Gaara. Therefore unlike last time when he blocked C3 with reg. sand he drained the rest of his chakra.

How would he have more stamina in a desert? I thinking your reasoning is that creating sand is taxing when it is not plus when Gaara creates sand instead of using a heap from the desert surroundings his chakra drainage would be in smaller amounts rather than waste all his chakra in one move like he first did with Deidara.
