I think A wins cos the guy is too fast and he was able to break Susanoo so he breaks through Gaara sand.

I think overall Gaara is the more useful ninja though.

If rock lee back in the day could peirce through the armours weakness (rock lee speed<<<Ay) then Ay can be expected to smash through the defence like paper, Liger bomb would break through eventually. Plus if gaara tried to touch Ay all he will have to do for his defence is lightning armour

I don't think Gaara can get into the air in time. If he starts up a certain distance then yes he probably wins, but OP didn't specify so default he starts on the ground and A blitzes.

Well If you notice in Gaara's fighting style even when he flys he's stays withing Mid-Range unless his oppoent can fly to where even when he fought deidara stayed at a mid range to him. He does this because the farther he is the greater the distance from his opponent there his attacks have to travel a greater range and will be slower. Also, It would take more sand to cover a greater distance thus causing more Chakra. At Mid range Raikage can still reach Gaara, maybe even using his sand as a path.

Depends on the distance, but in most circumstances A would probably win just because he is faster than the sand. Although Gaaras sand blocked him before, it's not like he was using his full speed at that particular moment.
