gaara the strongest kazekage?

it is stated that the 3d kazekage was > 1st and 2d. I think it was even stated that he was the stronges kage of his time. And I assume that he was also stronger than the fourth who was killed by orochimaru.

Digression: 3d was kidnapped and killed by sasori, how the hell did that happen??

If we look at how as a genin Gaara fought kimimaro (who was near death however), and how he bested the 2 mizukage, and..lots of other stuff we can deduce he is hella strong.

but is he stronger than the 3d?

Kabuto/kimmimaro being there was anime only...but to answer your question he is by far. Gold>Iron in terms of weight IRL so if gaara can manipulate sand with gold in it then he can manipulate sand with iron and essentially create his own "Iron sand" technique

Kimimaro had a disease, he wasn't hurt after fighting the Kazekage :| And he was killed by Orochimaro, likely with the help of an Edo. So no, he did not get killed by Kimimaro. He thought Oro was on his side, he wasn't expecting betrayal.

And yes, I think Gaara is the strongest, it just seems that way to me

3rd kazakage is still the strongest maybe the 3rd was not in his prime

yes.. i aggre with you train of thought. I would also draw a similarity between 3d kazekage and minato. Just like minato, sandaime kazekage observed the shukaku and made his iron sand

I don't think Gaara can really wield gold dust like his father did. He only incorporated some of the dust left behind by his father, not make it.

If Gaara does have gold dust also, I'd say he's prob 2nd strongest then.

He has the best potential to be the best Kage, being that he has no special attributes with metallic dust and simply sand. Yet, he's capable of standing toe to toe with his own father (even with help since the 3rd had his own help too ).
