First, at least you admit you are a fanboy and I sincerely thank you for that.

Second, I haven't seen much of Mei, but water DOES make sand heavier. It is not a sponge and the individual grains do not absorb the water yes, but Gaara would have to use more chakra to get rid of the water in his sand. Again, we haven't seen enough of Gaara to tell if he has less, as much, or more chakra since losing the Bijuu. If Chakra is an issue for Gaara, I think Mei could take him, if its not I think Gaara can take her, again, just based on the small amounts we've seen. So I voted draw.

Nobody really needs to worry about Gaara's chakra esp if he's just against Mei. The water will only "slowdown" the sand's movement by a scale that barely matters so Suiton is out of the question. And yes, Gaara still has a lot of chakra. If you've been reading the fight of Gaara vs the old kages then that should be enough to tell anyone that Gaara's chakra is still something to be feared.

I agree with you. I don't think Gaara is gonna squash Mei like a bug. He's gonna have a hard time fighting Mei but I think in the end Mei will lose to Gaara.

gaara has the field advatage. unlimited sand, can easily sand tsunami her, what is she going to do when sand comes at her from all directions? try to spit shit at it doing 360 spins? even if she does, she will be hitting the front layer, gaara can just keep going and going, mei will def we worn out faster than gaara. and how does she plan to hit gaara? to hit gaara everyone knows you need SPEED, or perhaps genjutsu which mei does not have. or not alot of anyways.

if he only had the gourd on his back to use than idk, maybe mei has a shot, but when their on a field with virtually unlimited sand at his disposal, gaara takes this one. everyone says water makes the sand heavier. yes ok, but is she going to keep spraying water throughout the whole match because im sure gaara is going to be attacking with his sand long distance non stop. gaara will either hit her after a while or she will get worn out and hit anyways.

It depends on how much Mei can create lava. Mei can't stop sand tsunami! I know that Lava can melt Sand but it doesn't matter. Sand has a powerful force that can push back Lava before it melts.

........we are yet to be reveiled about mei's abilities......gaara's strength lies only in sand..he cannot fight in glaciers,water bodies,rough terrian(the ones without sand)...these weak nesses brings gaara's score down....n so why should one depend on sandy terrian??....one is assuming that there is always unlimited sand :/ but actually only those places are advantageous then!!
