What do u mean he could barely do it he stopped the nuke (which was a village buster -.-) that came almost damn near instantly the amount of sand he gathered in such short amount of time shows how capable he is of dealing with deidara bombs
Also was able to wield enough sand to fend off 5 Full body legged Susannos at once ..
As for ur manda comment
Manda cannot tank 5 Susanno swords at once not to mention Gaara wasn't even paying attention and had only half of his defense (other half was saving mei)

He only blocked those Susanoo swords because there power were divided by 25... His Susanoo swords cut through the sand pyramid which was much thicker than that thin sheet on sand he blocked the Susanoo clones with...

They detonate after Deidara commands them to. Deidara uses c3 and the fight is done. He doesn't have the sand he did in his hometown. Only c1 will be useless, assuming he doesn't use ground and aerial c1. C2 is guided, it ain't being redirected. Btw this isn't IC.
1) gaara dosent need to block c3 as he only did it to save the village,deidara drops c3,gaara flies up with his siblings and sasori is left on the ground and is killed. You seem to forget he can fly.
2) c2 means bringing out the c2 dragon which gets oneshotted by either gaara or temari as it is too big to evade:

1) dosent need to even block it;as no one is here to be protected,he just flies with his siblings while sasori is left to die in the ground
2) only thing divided in clones is chakra;power is the same in clones as is the available power in the original. The pyramid was built to hold madara uin human form,not a v3 susanoo which was bosted by senjutsu,gaara also blocked madara's senjutsu susanoo sword strike when saving shukaku too.
3) he flew above the pollen;madara knocked him back down. Deidara got blitzed by sai

locational advantage?,tea he had no sand against kimimaro,how did that turn out?. There was no sand when he went to save shukaku from gedo's chains,yet he brought out bijuu sized sand arms. As a kid he said making sand is nothing to him,he turns this place into a sand box in a few secs.
C1 got infused into his sand because he was distracted blocking c3 which is not happening here: also he can jjust sense the bombs in his sand iof that happens and just use that part to attack deidara making him weary of his own bombs.
C2 is made from the mouth of deidara's c2 dragon;if you watch his fight with sasuke you will see it,if the dragon is downed then no more c2 bombs,the dragon is large and slow and thus easily downed.
Deidara will run out of chakra ling before gaara does.
