Gaara isn't weak, He's the second strongest Kage

Gaara is underrated, and I agree with you on that. But there are some things I disagree with. Gaara's sand is not as powerful/impenetrable as you make it to be. Even the almighty Susano'o had its weaknesses and there are a few things that every other Kage has against him and his Ultimate Defense.
Raikage - If we remember back to when Lee fought Gaara in the Chunin Preliminaries, then we remember when Lee removed his weights and was able to hit Gaara with his speed. Even though that was years earlier to now, Gaara has become more adept at manipulating his sand than his child years but nonetheless sand cannot be fast on its own. Raikage is shown to be the fastest character in Naruto (until KM Naruto that is) and his deadly speed/power combo is terrifying. Even if Gaara's sand managed to keep up, the sheer force from A's taijutsu could send Gaara flying or penetrate enough to implement his Lightning Release Armor inside. However, when Gaara manages to manipulate Gold or lighter minerals he could have a good battle with Defense against Offense.
Mei - Mei has a wide arrange of techs with her 2 Kekkei Genkai's, thus making her more versatile to the situation. If she finds a weakness to Gaara's sand, then her onslaught of ninjutsu would be enough to overwhelm him. Her Lava Release covers a good amount of distance, and if she could cover Gaara's sand shield with lava it would be deadly. Even if the Lava could not melt through the sand( which is hard to picture it not) the heat would make it hard for Gaara to breathe inside of that sand. Once he removes his shield for air its all over, so its either suffocate or melt. Vapor Release would be a very useful weapon for her since there are multiple ways to trap Gaara into a poisonous imprisonment. However, Mei would have to be able to get medium range to launch her attacks at Gaara meaning that he has enough time to try to get her with sand.
Tsunade - It would be hard for her to get close to Gaara to knock him with her sheer power or even do damage on his shield. If anything, Gaara one-ups Tsunade simply due to battle positioning and advantages.
To me, each Kage has certain traits that can be used to overwhelm the other. So in actuality, its a very hard thing to rank each Kage.

Gaara is one of the strongest characters in Naruto. Although he's been fighting carefully so far,I think It's because he's being careful about wasting chakra. Gaara has already defeated half of Muu and although he wasn't doing all the fighting he was the most tactical thinker. He sealed his father the 3rd Kazekage after a brief battle. Also sealed the Tchuzikage after battling and outsmarting him and protecting the shinobi army from a large blast. Saved Oonoki's ass several times using his sand.
Although he hasn't used any new massive finishing moves he has done a sand tsunami,several sand defensive walls and used tonnes of sand to block a meteor.
Gaara is a great tactition and has carefully used his abilities to keep a level battle-ground,save other shinobi and set up oppertunities for others to attack.
He doesn't have techniques like rasengan or chidori so doesn't try and get inside and finish it with a bang.

People dont like Gaara So they think he is not Strong
Gaara is very powerful kage , he can control enoursmous mass of sand , his defense is the best, he blocked amateracu and Raikage V2 , he drop madara from susanoo, he beated his father and 2 mizukage . he is very smart

ok 1st let me say am not a hater in fact gaara is kinda my best char,coz of his voice,the way he talks n fight,doesn't stress himself much but n
1st of all u should not be a fan of gaara coz it's ppl like u that brings characters down(e.g minato fans)
now on the so called fact
,the 1 that got me was gaara's sand is faster or in par with the raikage,if it's faster that means it is on par with minato or a little bit less,okU_U..i will call u childlish but don't take it seriouslynow i will ask u how can gaara's sand be on par or even faster than the raikage when little lee back when he was small could hit him in 3 gates,yet u say the raikage is like 5 gates of lee or guy(have u seen guy or lee in 5 gates:flaw
i don't even know were to start,now go back and watch it again u will see that gaara has already sent his sand there(plus he could have used d sand around here)..gaara's sand it not in 8 gates speed:flaw::flaw:
Gaara has grow stronger but he's sand is still the sand(it should even be slow or not even there coz it was becoz of the 1 tail that gave him that ability so i still don't get how he could still have it)
Amat is at the speed of sight & the raikage is faster than the speed of sight
so how can gaara's sand be faster than the speed of sight,his sand was on time coz he was there before the attack not during the attack(becoz he already saw the raikage attack sasuke & lost his arms)thats why he said''if u could have attacked u would have lost ur legs'' how is it possible that he knew this without seeing the 1st attack....if u want anymore facts i can,just ask.

LOL Raikage taking Onooki? HA! There is no way raikage could take Onooki...#1 he cant fly and #2 Onooki can blow his head off with one dust particle tech.
It would be a close fight for sure, but Raikage would surely lose, especially since hes a physical fighter and only has one hand.
