When I say canon characters, I don't mean no on at all but rather very strong characters. For istance, Akatsuki was aiming always for one at a time and it was a ratio of 2 vs 1 not 1 vs 2

That was completely terrible. Never seen a kage level ninja get fodderized that easily. Even Sasuke couldn't fodderize Gaara like that when he fought him briefly at the Kage summit. Nor did the 2nd Mizukage or his own father the 4th kazekage. Was that guitar guy actually a Senju or So6P descendant?

They made Gaara look like one of the random chuunin guys getting killed by the Juubi spikes.
