well i've been hearing diedra fan boys latley and it seems like diedra is been overated. Even to a state where diedra is been compared to minato... Common we all knw even minato's bitch kushina rapes diedra however i created this thread when i read a particular thread which says diedra takes down gaara no diff.. But all these diedra fan boys forgot that what actually made diedra got the best of gaara was because thier battle took place right in the sand village territory which automatically prevents gaara from using plenty of his jutsus due to the fact that some of his jutsus wouldn't only harm diedra but would also harm the villagers.. And again gaara while fighting diedra couldn't place his whole attention on defending himselve for he suspected diedra would attack the village, which diedra did.. Lastly i believe if gaara and diedra where to fight one on one venue where gaara fought kimamaro.. I strongly believe he would take down diedra...

I think Deidara is overrated, but I think he was still stronger than Gaara when the fought in the sand village. While Gaara was protecting his village, Deidara beat him using minimal clay and strategy. He never even used his more powerful techniques such as C4, which Gaara would have no way of defending against.

A Sharingan user with Cursed Seal and Orochimaru's powers and pushed Sasuke to the limit that he had to summon and control Manda to survive the blast! Put Gaara in his place, with the sand and all, there's still no guarantee!! Deidara was well known, even Hanzou knew about his power, plus he was akatsuki material....

well im not sure if deidara will win against current gaaea and for 1 they both have intel on each other so it would be interesting to see them fight again and i do agree the main reason gaara lost was because he had to protect the village from all the sand which took a lot out of him but gaara did lose fair and square as a ninja will use what ever chance they can and the village was gaaras weakness in a way as he was kazekage and it is really all down to location

The only reason Deidara won was to force Gaara to defend the village instead of himself. If they were fighting in the sand country with no village to protect, Gaara has all the sand he needs to protect himself from C4 and any technique Deidara wishes to use.
