gaara can he defeat sasuke???

Care to explain the way sasuke wins? I took my time to explain my reasons, u should give urs in return......

The only reason why sasuke beat deidara was because of his sharingan, the sharingan is the perfect thing to use against deidara and gaara doesn't have that and remember when gaara was fighting deidara he was not only worried about taking down deidara but also protecting his village and he only lost because of that btw and current gaara is way stronger than what he was like at the beginning of shippuden, I'm not saying that sasuke would lose to gaara if they were to fight but in a desert where gaara only have to worry about taking down sasuke, gaara would take him down.

Wow! Why don't you do yourself a favor and change your avatar picture to Gaara. So let say this can Dessert Gaara take Naruto down? Of course not. We already know that Gaara was protecting his people, but the fact is he would of lost. Don't use the sharingan on the topic. That's like saying Naruto uses the nine-tails too much or Gaara uses his automatic sand too much. They all have their own powers. Besides Sasuke has lost to people. He lost to Lee, One Tail Gaara, The Sound 4, He would of lost to Itachi, and he lost to Killer Bee, and almost died at the Summit. So it's not like Sasuke has been undefeated in battles. But he beat Deidara and he had to resort exploding himself in order to kill Sasuke. I laughed when he was an Edo Tensai and took credit for killing Sasuke. I don't underate Gaara. He has been strong, but he can't beat Sasuke. Sasuke's sharingan is too powerful compare to a three tomoe. I praise Gaara because he beated his father and the Mizukage.

Did you just indirectly called me a Sasuke fanboy? Have you any idea idea howmuch I hat the little shit? I dare you to call me a Sasuke fan directly, don't even try that bullcrap on me.

-Gaara's defense isn't 'ultimate', a couple of Susano'o arrows should be enough to penetrate it.

-Amaterasu cannot be blocked by Gaara, those of you who disagree and provide that certain picture - that was Enton Release aka manipulating existing black flames.

-Sasuke's speed exceeds Gaara's defensive speed by far and this doesn't have to play a role per sé.

-There is absolutely no reason why Tsukoyomi won't work on Gaara.

Chidori would do nothing against current Gaara's defense...come on.
Gaara's shield was able to defend fodders from the best mizukage's technique,deidara C3,needed 5 susanos swords to be broken,helped Oonoki to stop two Madara meteors, stopped 12 tomoes along Oonoki(let's say 6 because Oonoki helped too)... And you're saying chidori nagashi would break it... ._. Try with another attack.
I'm not saying that Gaara would win,but these kind of argues are just stupid.I still don't understand why Gaara's defense is so underrated.

Dude im not saying tht chidori nagashi will break garaa defence wat i said is if garaa try to pull sasuke out of susanoo he will use chidori nagashi to protect himself.garaa sand weakness is lightning n sasuke have alot in his arsenal in the first part a weak chidori went through garaa defence i knw hes stronger now n sasuke as well n his chidori is alot stronger so it will go through garaa defence.sasuke wins high diff

Really? Only if Kishi let's Gaara win on purpose. If i remember on their match on the Chunin Arena. Sasuke was beating the crap out of Gaara. With no difficulty, so if Gaara fights Sasuke. I say Sasuke takes it with mid-difficulty.

U didnt read my earlier posts pls go through them.
Now about genjutsu: gaara uses a sand eye to see things from afar and genjutsu works by influancing chakra system, (eyes are the best opening as it is the most open and most trusted of our senses and only izanami uses other senses) so basically if gaara's chakra system is not influenced genjutsu will fail.

Also dont u ppl read what others post? Gaara's sand shield took five bashes from madara susano b4 breaking so its quite strong.

I already countered ur hawk usage with sandy eye tech. Plus if sasuke will 'block' sand burial with amaterasu and the same sand spreads around him wouldnt that mean he wld get surrounded by amaterasu?
