He never blocked Amaterasu and still doesn't have an answer for Amaterasu, and other speed attacks like Kirin and Susano'o arrow.

Sasuke also has an albeit incomplete, but still has Tsukuyomi. This was able to paralyze a perfect jinchuriki for a few seconds, so with no way out would definitely leave an opening in Gaara's defence for an easy Amaterasu kill

His attacks would pretty much all be rendered useless by Susano'o, and even if he 'yanks' him out, he can either regenerate Susano'o at his new location or just attack whilst he's busy pulling him out. This is if Gaara is on a sandy terrain and can get underneath Susano'o

Needs eye contact and gaara is a long range fighter plus gaara can do that floating eye tech, so putting a genjutsu on him gona be tough as one probaly can not influance much of gaara's chakra system through that floating eye.

i will definatly agree that madara has his head too deep in his a** and for the time bein negi and everyone else in the ninja war is fodder(excluding naruto kikashi guy 5kages tobi former jinchuriki nagato itachi susuke kabuto and madara) so him getting owned by a fodder at this point in time is worthless sasuke only used two ems tecniques in the fight with kabuto then itachi basically to him stay out the way im preformiing izamni(for 5 chapters:sy and i only said that sasuke would lose to gaara in a desert anywhere else and sasuke would beat gaara high difficulty P.S you bring good points but instead of just trying to forcefully make everyone accept them try to be rational its pretty fun debating you but it would be alot better if you would stop getting mad:noc:

I don't get mad. I just don't enjoy hearing the desert topic. We all know Gaara is powerful, but when he is talked about the sand it makes him sound weaker. Like if his life depended on the fricking sand.

Why do people bring the desert crap always? Deidara didn't go full out on Gaara and he won. Sasuke beat Deidara effortlessly in their encounter. The reason why Sasuke was tired because of the chidori he inflicted on himself. Gaara could beat Hebi Sasuke in the desert. But i doubt he can beat Taka Sasuke or EMS Sasuke in a desert. You forget that he can fly as well. :scorps:

The only reason why sasuke beat deidara was because of his sharingan, the sharingan is the perfect thing to use against deidara and gaara doesn't have that and remember when gaara was fighting deidara he was not only worried about taking down deidara but also protecting his village and he only lost because of that btw and current gaara is way stronger than what he was like at the beginning of shippuden, I'm not saying that sasuke would lose to gaara if they were to fight but in a desert where gaara only have to worry about taking down sasuke, gaara would take him down.

Chidori would do nothing against current Gaara's defense...come on.
Gaara's shield was able to defend fodders from the best mizukage's technique,deidara C3,needed 5 susanos swords to be broken,helped Oonoki to stop two Madara meteors, stopped 12 tomoes along Oonoki(let's say 6 because Oonoki helped too)... And you're saying chidori nagashi would break it... ._. Try with another attack.
I'm not saying that Gaara would win,but these kind of argues are just stupid.I still don't understand why Gaara's defense is so underrated.
