sasuke! why? gaara's sand is the ultimate defense which sasuke cant break through unlike sasuke's susanoo( A's liger bomb) and amatersu cant burn his sand so sasuke is screwed! plus i dont think gaara will get caught in genjutsu anyways. and gaara wont let him come close for close combat so booom!! i did it!

I respectfully disagree. I'm sure Susano'o's arrows would be able to pierce the sand. But that remains to be seen so I won't use it as an argumentative tool. They both have superior defenses, and great attacks. But Sasuke's attacks, I think, are a bit more versatile. I'm not sure who has better chakra reserves, but I think that would be the deciding factor in this battle.

When he had an MS and a level 1 Susanoo, don't kid yourself, none of the Gokage can even hope to beat Sasuke 1 on 1, deal with it.

Also, stop using the past to try and justify current beliefs when things have changed.

well,he can just go underneath and kill sasuke,ignoring the outer shell. Besides susanoo takes chakra,and gaara has tons of chakra over sasuke,he wont hold susanoo forever.
I'd love to see what sasuke would do when this pops right underneath him

those arrows of his got stuck in a pillar,not worth rebuting.
Though with this hashirama stuff,Sasuke would probably get a powerup like enton PS or senju cels or something that would make him equal to naruto,but until then,gaara kicks his emo ass

Im going to have to side with sasuke here his just to far advanced now maybe before ems it would have been a fairly even ish fight but now sasuke is just far more stronger,
Gaara's sand can protect him and gaara using his third eye of sand to observe the battle field whilst his inside his sand dome can delay sasuke somewhat i guess as he can throw sasukes arrows of balance which danzou did with tree's,
But i just now its going to end in sasukes favor as sasuke can fight and a long range and close range whilst gaara can only really fight long range,
In the end i see sasuke winning

Plus sasuke has shown being very analytical at times such as his battle with deidara
