Naruto is friendly with kurama, thus he can perform frog fusion with ma and pa. That takes away all the disadvantages of his sennin mode like limited FRS, limited time, and limited clones. Thus the gamatrio and a couple of SM clones with enough chakra to use as couple FRS take on gaara while the real takes on oonoki. That's pretty much how it goes down, oonoki either gets counterattacked by clones while trying to hit naruto with jinton, gets lasered by pa, gets frog songed, or gets dodges a FRS and gets destroyed by the expansion since he doesn't have knowledge on it. Gaara's sand gets oiled, jumped over and blasted through by Fuuton rasenshuriken/ SM Chou oodama rasengan.
