Not that it matters anyways.. Gaara's gourd sand is his toughest because he flows chakra through it. He can flow chakra through any other sand construct just as quickly as seen when he did so with the aerial bulwark he used to defend his village against Deidara's village busting bomb.

I think you are wanking Gaara here. he already lost to someone with similar abilities to Jinpachi and has shown the blast sword can reach a larger blast the the bombs Deidara used in Gaara's sand. and the sword has shown the ablity to pass though underground rock so should it be able to the sand.
