Description: User creates a whirlwind of slicing wind. Originally used by Temari with her fan, there is a way to create this jutsu without a weapon. Performing quickly handseals, the user will gather his Fuuton chakra into the lungs to blow out a sharp gust of wind, which in conjunction with the handseals will create a gust of violent slashing wind. The wind created is strong enough to push the opponent back or create 2 inch deep slashes to his body, however the user cannot direct slashes.

Okay so this move is originally used by Temari with her fan, but you can create it.
First gather up your futon chakra up in your lungs while also performing a few hand seals, then blow out a sharp gust of wind, the gust is strong enough to push your target back and/or create 2 inch deep slashes.

*I quickly gather my futon chakra into my lungs and after gathering a sufficient amount of chakra and performing the required hand seals, I blow out a sharp gust of wind directed towards a nearby tree. The tree rattles as the gust slashes it in several places*

An advantage to this technique would be that the prep time is shorter compared to the previous technique which required 5 hand seals, and this could allow the user to quickly pull off a second move if need be.

A disadvantage would be that your opponent could dodge this technique easily because it's only going in one general direction, the enemy could also perform a fire jutsu to counter it.

First gather your futon chakra into you lungs then blow out a sphere of air aimed at your target, that can blow your target backwards as well small objects around him.

*I proceed to gather my futon chakra into my lungs slowly, then, I blow out a sphere of air that heads directly toward a small rock structure, the structure is blown backwards at a significant distance!*


Advantages: One could use this to blow their opponent backwards as stated in the description, thereby allowing the user to gain some distance. The user could also use it to blow harmful objects to their opponents, as a distraction or to hurt them.

Disadvantages: This jutsu can be dodged easily because of it's small area of effect, and as usual a fire jutsu used by the enemy may hinder this wind technique useless.

Description: The user releases a gust of wind that forms several small tornadoes. Combined with Fire Release: Running Fire that forms a circle on ground level, this creates a massive flaming hurricane.

Gather your futon chakka up all around your body, then release it. Manipulate the chakra to turn into several small tornadoes that attack your target, this jutsu can also be combined with Fire Release: Running Fire to make a flaming hurricane.

*I commence by gathering up my futon chakra, then disperse it evenly across my entire body. I release the built up chakra from within my body and I then manipulate the chakra into many small tornadoes directed towards a group of trees. The trees buckle under the strength of the tornadoes and some are knocked down!*

Advantages: This jutsu can be used to not only injure your enemy but to put pressure on them, seeing as to how the tornadoes may be manipulated, the enemy will have to be on their toes and very careful.

Disadvantages: While manipulating the tornadoes, the user may become vulnerable because of how much attention they have to put towards the manipulation.

First perform the three required hand seals, then gather your chakra to create a vortex of wind to blast at your target, this jutsu can be combined with Fire Release: Running Fire and Earth Release: Earth Corridor.

*I begin by gathering my futon chakra, then perform the hand seals Tiger → Snake → Ram, causing a vortex of wind to assimilate. The vortex is directed towards a group of trees and upon contact with the vortex, the trees become uprooted by it's strength.*

Advantages: This jutsu can me combined with other techniques to increase it's killing capabilities.

Disadvantage: The jutsu can be dodged easily and strong enough fire techniques may be able to suppress this jutsu.

Description: A powerful technique of wind nature chakra that can cut and slash through any material. The user activates it by summoning chakra in his right hand, and then swipes a slicing chakra wave which appears to be controlled by the users will and thoughts. They are also able to use the technique in a rapid-fire, successive motion creating up to three cresent blades of wind.

First gather up a decent amount of futon chakra in your right hand, then swipe a slicing chakra wave, this wave is controlled by the users will and thoughts. This jutsu can slash and cut through any material.

When I believe that I've gathered enough chakra to attempt to use the jutsu in quick succession, I swipe my right hand three times, these blades of wind being launched at a second's interval between each swipe. The blades make contact with the rock structure three times, and after the debris settles there is nothing but small remnants of what the rock structure once was.*

Advantages:This jutsu may be able to break the enemies defenses and furthermore, because it may be used three times in quick succession, the user may be able to increase the chances of the attack actually landing a hit on their opponent. This jutsu may also be used as a landscape changer, seeing as to it can cut through any material, the user may be able to use this to their advantage by purposely, say, break several trees in case the enemy is hiding behind something or, can destroy any surrounding objects that may be giving the user's enemy an advantage in battle.

Disadvantages: The user, if attempting to utilize this jutsu three times in a row, would need to be weary of their own safety because, if the user pays too much attention to controlling the wind slashes, they may become vulnerable to a quick counter attack that the enemy may execute at that time. The user also needs to be cautious about where/what the slashes end up destroying, if the blades of wind destroy some sort of object or structure in the landscape that may otherwise give their enemy some sort of advantage, then this could cost the user the battle.

Gather your chakra up, then release a slicing gust of wind, that is able divide incoming wind attacks equal and lower strength to make them harmless.

* I position myself in front of a nearby tree, and begin to gather up my futon chakra. I then proceed by releasing a sharp gust of wind that heads towards the tree and once it makes contact, splits the tree in half, the amount of force the jutsu had seemed to have been enough for a wind technique of equal strength to have been negated!*

Advantages: This jutsu would be perfect when fighting an enemy that utilizes futon as well, and when the user is faced in a situation where they are not able to simply move away from the enemy's incoming futon technique, the user may use this jutsu to save themselves.

Disadvantages: This jutsu does not appear to actually have the capability of harming the enemy in any way, and also, if the enemy were to utilize for example, the (Fūton: Jūha Shō) - Wind Release: Beast Wave Strike three times in quick succession, the user would still be in danger of the other two incoming attacks due to the fact that the technique only specifies that it may only block ONE futon tech of similar strength.

Description: This technique after performing the required hand seals Tiger → Hare → Dragon allows the user to summon a cyclone of petals to attack their opponent. The user can remain in one spot for the use of the technique, because he or she can direct it anywhere they desire. Therefore, the user can increase the direction and power of the technique to the maximum as a last resort.

Okay perform the Tiger → Hare → Dragon hand seals, thus doing that also gather up your futon chakra doing this shall allow you to summon a cyclone of petals to attack your target.

*I perform the hand seals Tiger → Hare → Dragon and while doing so, build up my futon chakra hastily. A cyclone of petals spawns in front of me and as I realize this, I begin to direct the cyclone towards a group of rock structures off into the distance. The cyclone speeds over with great intimidating force and as I increase the amount of power it produces, it makes contact with the rock structures and completely decimates them, littering the area near the contact point with crumbled pieces of the structure.*

Advantages: This jutsu is not only very useful because it can be controlled and directed at the user's opponent , but is also useful because the amount of power that the cyclone holds can also be controlled by the user. This jutsu may be utilized to change the landscape, and more importantly to pressure the user's opponent or possibly injure them.

Disadvantages: If the user intended to utilize this jutsu on their opponent by manipulating the cyclone, the user would be vulnerable because they would have to remain in a stationary position in battle, which is a very, very bad thing to do if you're trying not to die in battle. (O_O)

As I'm doing this, I build up my futon chakra, preparing to execute the move, I take on a more rigid stance in order to brace my self, and release a fairly powerful wave of wind outboard. The wave is confronted by a sturdy and jagged boulder, not very far from the initial location of release, and proceeds to slash the boulder in half fairly easily.*


Advantages: The user can do some serious damage with this technique, and because it is described as a "wave" of sorts, I can assume that this technique covers a fairly wide range when compared to a wind projectile for example.

Disadvantages: The user cannot necessarily have a pin point accuracy as to where the slash will cut the user's enemy with this technique. Again, it being a ranged technique the possibility of the enemy dodging the jutsu is well within the realm of possibility.

*As I grasp Nathan-sensei's sword, it is cold to the touch, there's no telling what Nathan-sensei's dark passenger has accomplished with this weapon, "(O_O)", I brush this off, and steel myself, preparing to execute the move, I begin to utilize my futon chakra and infuse the foreboding sword with it. As the sword is breathed new life with the wind infused chakra I focus on a group of large, green trees and swing the weapon towards that general direction, merely several meters away from me. The resulting whirlwind of gusts emitted from the sword collide with the group of trees, breaking and uprooting them.*

Advantages: This jutsu is awesome O_O with this technique, one wielding a sword may not only be able to increase the killing capabilities of their weapon, but may also increase the range at which the sword may injure the opponent. The need to make sword on flesh contact will mean nothing when using this jutsu.

Disadvantages: The user must be careful at what they swing at, the amount of destruction that the sword will cause has increased but with that also comes the burden of not knowing whether your opponent will use this to their advantage by using the changed battle area to their favor.
