Listening to her students words intently, Katniss cannot help but smile. Her student is clearly knowledgeable, studying was always so important to her. At the close of her students words Katniss allows for a brief pause, in case he wishes to add anything. When it is clear he is finished, she reaches into her pocket and removes a letter, as she hands it to him she begins to speak.
"Good, you clearly came ready and with plenty of knowledge on wind as an element. I still ask however that you read through everything written on this note, make sure you take it all in as it's all very important stuff. Note that wind is also present in sound release."
'Dear Kitty Kat,
Here is the wind release breakdown you requested
A rank Wind > A rank Lightning
A rank Wind = S rank Lightning
Vice-versa for Fire.
A rank Fire > A rank Wind
A rank Fire = S Rank Wind
A rank Wind = A rank water
A rank Wind = A rank earth
When it comes down to wind verses earth or water, It's usually equal to it, but as with every jutsu, the effectiveness depends solely on size, shape and affects of each jutsu.. For example, you use the A rank wind blade vs An A rank earth wall which is both tall and wide... That wind won't have enough area of effect to damage the entire wall, instead it'll simply affect the point it hits; though it could end up crumbling the entire wall if you hit it in the proper places..
When in comparison towards KG's and hidden abilities, this is Wind's Strength and weaknesses:
Strengths:
- Rain
- Storm
- Boil
- Bugs (blowing/slicing them away)
- Steam
- Sound
- Shikotsumyaku
- Paper
Weaknesses:
- Dust
- Blast
- Dark
- Ice
As you can see, Wind is generally an extremely powerful element, due to its speed and cutting. And for a final philosophical view, know that Wind is all around us. Just like the Earth, and like I stated in my own wind training; in the narutoverse and rl wind is always present around us. So keep that in mind. Hence you can use that towards your advantage, that is when I believe Wind can be considered versatile, changing the terrain towards your advantage. You can form a wall of wind that blocks kunais and incoming objects of a not so great density, and use the wind to push yourself or your opponent from your previous location towards another one.
Yours, Shady.'
"Once you have read through all that and are happy that it's in your head, just let me know."
