Never posted my own thread except a hello. However 666 made me think I should.
At the end of the chapter we see Madara and Gai exchange "who are you?" Panels. This can lead one of 2 ways.
1) that Madara and Gai have an unseen encounter prior, but maybe with hidden identities. Highly unlikely but it could be when Madara was old and Gai young during the war arc.
Or
2) that Gai doesn't recognise Madara from before due to his body morphing and Gai reminds Madara of someone from his prime era. We don't know much about Gai from flashbacks except his history with Kakashi. Who knows we might get to Find out more of Gai' lineage ( flashbacks with Lee were omitted as they are about Lee)
Either way flashbacks incoming.
It's obvious that Obito and Kakashi are self sacrificing to keep Naruto alive. I can see Minato and Gai will join them in their last battle.
We saw Tobirama immobilised but willing his soul to Sasuke something will happen their with Karin and co maybe to be the missing link to keep him alive.
