Is the day when you can draw scantly clad manga/anime females over?

“Fan service” characters serve an obvious marketing ploy. But, is the usage done with? Or it can never go away?

Wouldn’t controversy be good publicity?

What are your thiughts?

It's never going away. There will always be series where 99.999% of the point of interest is fanservice. Those kinds of series should be immune to any real criticism just like porn is.

I’m trying to write a few “ecchi” stories.

When I do have them done, make sure to write a blog about how it victimizes women so I can get some free publicity and automatic fans from anti-PC people.

In all seriousness, I just like drawing women over men. And I like eye candy.
