Is rank still matter?

I dont now. Maybe for average Shinobi to rank up their selves. But for Super special Shinobi like Madara, Hashi, Naruto, Sasuke or Mitsuki, it doesnt matter.

I'm not really impressed with any of them really.

Sarada/Boruto are simply a mix of their parents which i find pretty boring after sitting through 700 chapters already, mitsuki i'd like to know his back story since he seems some what unique compared to the other two but i personally wasn't amazed by the last chapter but it was ok.

Tbh Sarada is the only one who is a mixture of her parents. Boruto is barely like Hinata.

The Movie said he was like Naruto and Sasuke (the Hokage office scene), but the line after that said he was different from them both, which would be the fact that he dislikes training and hard work.

I think that's unique, but Mitsuki is a little bit different. Still I don't find him that amazing, he's just another Sai/Sasuke archetype rip off. While Sarada/Boruto have their quirks, obviously as the Sakura/Naruto stigma, it won't go in their favor than the Sasuke former.

Still I find none of them THAT amazing via personality, like you said.
