[Theory] Future Arc?

Does anybody else think this place might be a future Arc in One Piece.

As you can see there is a war going on, but we don't what Island it is. Personally I believe we might find a Future Antagonist or Someone we've seen before. I just don't see Oda adding a random war to One Piece that we won't see. Thoughts?

Since they mention rookies I'm thinking of the alliance from scratchmen apoo, basil hawkins and eustass kid, but it might also just be a normal war that's occuring on that island. He might just use this war as an example what effect it has when the business with the donquichote family drops.

I guess you got a point, but I still think the Straw Hats we'll visit there sometime after this arc.

I think that has to do with the Caribou side-story. Because there's a war going on where he currently is and Kaido's men are there as well. And who does business with the Donquixote family + receives weapons? Kaido.

I never noticed it said something about a war, but now that i see that it mentions something about a war it seems possible that it could be the location of a future arc.

There will be many arcs after this... the thread is pointless ; Oda said there would be 10 more years of One Piece.
