If were to take Sasuke at his word, his goal and Narutos have co-aligned. Both want to be Hokage.

We all know Kishimoto loved DBZ, and has stolen ideas or concepts from it many times, what if his final theft/asspull is to somehow fuse Naruto and Sasuke into one being, so that they can defeat Madara?

This. I imagine this is as far as Kishi will go with the "fusion" concept. At least I hope so... I just think having them fuse together out of nowhere would seem like such an asspull
