this is not even kishimotos work, so I'll take it with a grain of salt
If the movie deliberately doesn't have this saying then I'll take what's actually shown from kishimotos work well over some underlings filler manga

Just try to use common sense. Why do you think Naruto brought the Bijuudama inside of the avatar despite having more powerful feats than Momoshiki, whose strongest feat before this was knocking out the 8-Tails with a TBB.

I. Tried to counter the technique, then try to remember what happens when two powerful techniques collide (On a larger scale, look at Naruto v. Sasuke - Their final clash with their most powerful techniques).

I. If Naruto didn't put the Bijuudama inside of himself, then the surrounding area would have been destroyed, possibly along with the Avatar. Meaning everyone would of died.

Anyway everything I said is still filed under 'Kishimoto's work' -- Just because a scene is explored more through dialogue, does not make it any different from the Movie version.

Fun fact, Kishimoto didn't help with the action scenes. I have that interview if you need it too.

Lmao, if Momoshiki's attack can only destroy Naruto's Avatar and incapacitate it after he wraps himself around said blow then you know arguing that it does the same under normal conditions where he could overpower it or block it with his Avatar and tails instead of taking a direct hit is beyond foolish and makes zero sense.
