Just because you're an edo doesn't mean you can't perfom edo Tensei. Madara is no longer an edo. That half of his body was brought back to life by Obito through Rinne Tensei. All you need is the DNA and a Sacrifice to bring back the dead.

well kishi is capable of fixing this plothole by making minato use suiton to cut the tree...KISHI ALWAYS LIES WHAT ITS CONVENIENT TO HIM !!

I don't think minato meant that he cut the big tree. He probably cut the smaller branches that were wrapping people up so he could free them. Kinda like what the 3rd was doing when he was trying to free tsunade from being trapped in the jutsu. To cut the branches, minato could use a kunai in his mouth like zabuza or a wind/suiton jutsu like you said earlier.

Tobirama created the Edo Tensei, so he is able to use it. There is also no reason why an Edo shouldn't be able to use it like a normal person. Also, if they were to revive Madara, then they wouldn't revive him at his full strength. (Tobirama isn't that much of a fool.) Also, Minato cut the ropes at the top the cocoons with a kunai he had in his mouth.

about the edo's, you guys are also forgetting that the caster can chose to supress the personality entirely with one of those kunai with the tags on them. so it would be perfectly possible for tobirama to summon back madara, supress his personality and ask him all the questions they can think of. madara would be reduced to a puppet.

but they are not going to do it since hashirama is clearly apposed to the whole concept of the technique and the fact that a living sacrefice is required.
on top of that, it's not necessary anymore also, now that the genie is out the bottle (hagoromo out of madara's but) he will be able to provide all the answers.
