I'm not interested in running around talking nonsense with someone who obviously hates itachi. Gaara's plan was no more genious than naruto's plan against 3rd raikage. Is naruto smarter than gaara now? Because he analysed and made a logical deduction of the 3rd raikage where his entire village and own son couldn't.

Any reasonable, non-biased, logical person can see that itachi beats the majority of kage. Because he isn't a kage doesn't mean he can't beat a kage.

That's the dumbest logic ever, else Obito should have never defeated(control) yagura(4th mizukage), sasuke should have never defeated danzo(6th hokage), madara should have never defeated muu and onooki( 2nd and 3rd tsuchikage), sasori should have never beat 3rd kazekage, Deidara should have never defeated Gaara( 4th kazekage ), and orochimaru should have never defeated hiruzen and 4th kazekage. they weren't kage after all. For that mattter, by your logic, Deidara should be the smartest character in the series since he outsmarted gaara, huh? He came unprepared and was being countered the entire way but found a strategy to beat gaara. Stop wanking gaara. He wasn't anbu at 14, and didn't master his sharingan at 8 - a feat that even a 10 year old madara didn't accomplish and madara is the strongest uchiha.

I like how Itachi Beat 2 of these people who beat kage; Orochimaru, Deidara and by default can beat hiruzen, 4th kazekage and gaara. I also like how he is the second best genjutsu user in uchiha and can therefore reproduce that whole controlling yagura thing.

3rd Raikage destroys Itachi unless he gets caught in a genjutsu. We do not know the 3rd's genjutsu prowess though.

i don't see it, itachi is intelligent enough to know the 3rds power is possible to be used against him and itachi is a long range fighter best, not to mention his sharingan would make it REALLY easy to do the same thing naruto did. oh and sharingan means itachi can use rasengan too. or catch him in genjutsu, after using amaterasu i imagine itachi would notice none of his attacks can do real damage but the raikage's own power is a different story. itachi is a genius
