What's even much more funny is that we're talking about a ninja, someone working in Anbu(supposed to gather informations).

Hashirama even has his statue in the Valley of the End. So how in the hell is it possible that this Anbu didn't knew a thing about at least Hashirama?(he didn't recognise Nidaime also)

In his Young Days (Prime), People knew of Hashirama.
