An advanced form of Ninjutsu which centers around sealing objects & the creation of barriers for multiple purposes. Where as Dark release is able to absorb Chakra & energies fuelled by Chakra, Fuuinjutsu is seen as a more honed version of it, with the ability to absorb virtually anything through the creation of Seals. As well as the seals, there are several steps required for this to be accomplished, them being; Target, Vessel(Basically the Seal), Trigger, the Binding, Chakra & a Key. With an almost limitless array of options, Seals can be placed in various locations & can even be used to store other objects for the user's own supplementary use.

Good, good. Just a few other things to note: You can have up to five body seals on your bio, six when you're an Official Sage or Finished Med-school. Absorption using Fuuinjutsu is not as limited as Dark Release (which you touched on already) and Fuuinjutsu incorporates making seals on the fly, or having pre-made tags to place on your target. It can also be broken down into barriers, which are less complicated or true (don't have a better term) seals.
To start, let's look at the first two techs in the Fuuinjutsu List.
This Fuuinjutsu is in fact a barrier. Its role is a little less complicated than other jutsu that aim to restrain or restrict a target. This barrier allows you to sense movement inside a certain area, linked to you as a sort of sixth sense.
Then we have this one, a proximity trap. This technique follows the criteria akin to sealing fuuinjutsu: Object, the explosive aspect of the tags. Medium/Vessel, being the explosive markers/tags. Trigger, a chakra source different to the one that set the tags. Binding, is the actual kanji and inscriptions on the seal. Chakra, is the cost of chakra you spend to set the tags and is also how they know not to explode when your chakra passes through the boundary. Key, not applicable to this jutsu.
Once a foreign chakra source passes through a boundary (ie walking between two tags), it will activate the trigger and cause the release of the stored explosion.

So I don't know if watching the video for that point, maybe up to the next minute or so, answers any of your questions but it's worth a watch.
1. Since it works via movement, it should detect Muu via his movement, regardless of being invisible and having chakra suppressed. The only way to suppress movement, is to simply not move.
2.Expands directly from the user, moving outwards at the speed of the users standard running speed.
3. Barrier is invisible and can only be seen through doujutsu, though it does not hinder their vision.

For this, you are basically using your chakra to disrupt the medium of the barrier, overloading it with your chakra to destroy it. Note that it only works on B-rank Barriers.

So this will restrain your target as well as draining 50 chakra per turn, granting your 30 per turn. In the anime, this was performed by four shinobi, however our RP allows us to perform it singularly. Fairly easy to break out of, since it requires something B-rank or greater and only prevents you from using S-ranks.
Just a way of texting people in the NW. Doesn't have a distance limit however it only works with the scrolls you originally create with this jutsu. The recipient of the second (or however many scrolls you make) will all need to know Fuuinjutsu to be able to unlock/read/send messages with this technique.
(Mugen Hōyō) - Infinate Embrace

Once caught inside it, the target cannot mold chakra above S-rank and the barrier itself can only be broken by B-Rank techniques or by attacking the user of the technique.

If the tech goes undefended, the chakra will be lost at the end of the opponents turn. The cube forms the same instant you place your hand on the ground, or at least within a relatively quick time-span there-after.
This is the seal we mainly saw people use against the Edo tensei, placed after the Edo was trapped by some other jutsu. Works best on Summons and Edo tensei, people will more than likely just rip it off and this has no effect on Jinchuuriki.
The above jutsu does not exist, move on O__O'
It's the seal Jiraiya gave Kakashi of which he used in the early parts of Shippuden, kicking him out of the transformation. Only works on specifically the Incomplete Transformation.

This technique has been seen used with Sand ninjutsu, Earth, Water, Wood, Cloth Ninjutsu, etc but basically any technique in which you can apply the tags can be used. In the case of expert ninjas, the tags might even be incorporated into the restraining technique, with no need to actually manually place the tag or tags. Additionally, less experienced ninjas can find that throwing one or more kunais with the sealing tags attached at the technique which will trigger the same effect when the kunais stick on the technique. This prevents the target from moving, molding chakra or even being summoned.
Note: The seal takes a while to form, so most opponents can either counter the restraining technique (thus preventing the sealing formula of taking effect) or rip off the tags from themselves negating its effects entirely. If the target, however, fails to counter the restraining technique or is counter to it fails or if he doesn't remove the tags in his next move, then the seal will fully be placed and the target unable to release himself.

Yeah, nothing is as easy as the Anime makes it seem, however if you manage to restrain a Jinchuuriki, then you would have a better shot. However, some produce a hot cloak that would essentially burn the paper tag, so it would only work on those that do not poses that quality.
The most basic application of Fuuinjutsu; sealing anything (see notes for exceptions) inside this seal. If you are a med-nin or posses advanced Fuuinjutsu (something I can teach xD), you can place this seal on your body.
Proximity mine... that's what this is. An explosion is sealed within this script, a more devastating version of the explosive tag; that triggers when a chakra that is not your own, comes too close. Too close being short-range of the seal.
( Han'you Fūin ) - Generic Sealing Technique

The second tech is meant and I believe was used as a set-and-forget land-mine (for lack of a better comparison). Though I don't see why you couldn't place it on a solid creation of your own/opponents, so yeah... go for it xD
This is what the Sound Four used to transport Sasuke in the Sasuke Retrieval Arc... Yeah, hold an opponent inside the container for a singular turn, putting a pause on any turn-limit that might be effecting them (eg. they wouldn't lose Sage Chakra for this one turn they are sealed away for).
Unfortunately, there isn't a way to unseal the attack and it only works on the basic five elements.

You can have basically all of the paper-tag based seals, already made and written into your bio, many people do this as it saves crucial time in battle.

(Kuchiyose: Raikō Kenka) - Summoning: Lightning Blade Creation

Description: This is a special "ninja tool summon" that allows the user to seal basic ninja tools, like shurikens, kunais, swords, etc into sealing marks placed on their clothes or their body. The ninja tools can be summoned in an instant just by touching the sealing "marks". The greatest advantage of this technique is that the time between taking out a ninja tool, taking the right stance and actually throwing it is greatly reduced and one can unleash a barrage of weapons with great speed in a small time window. Better sensing barrier than the one you learnt earlier. You need to be within the barrier in order to sense people moving within or passing through the barrier walls. The main weakness of this is that kunai can be targeted in order to disrupt the barrier itself, by destroying the sealing tag.
This detects movement, so the only real way to avoid this sensing is to meditate in order to prepare Sage Mode... with obvious draw-backs to that unless done correctly.
Again, a more advanced version of an earlier jutsu, this time transferring more chakra to you whilst also taking more from your opponent. This version also has a pressure that holds the target in place, negating the need for a restraining jutsu.

Description: This is a detection type barrier which is simply a more advanced version of the (Kekkai: Tengai Hojin) - Barrier: Dome Method Formation technique and that can be used to surround an area and allows the user to monitor a certain area covering from the sky to underneath the ground creating a sphere. The user will create a tag with the 許可 (Kyoka) Kanji and place it on the ground, doing the confrontation hand seal afterwards to activate it. After the barrier is erected, the user, if inside it, will be able to detect any enemy inside it, even if he hiding his presence. After that, anyone who enters or leaves the barrier is instantly detected as well as anything that moves inside it. Techniques that mask the users presence are ineffective at avoiding detection as the barrier focuses on movement and displacement of matter, not solely on chakra detection. The barrier can also be moved according to the requirements of the user by moving the tag.

(Tajū Mugen Hōyō ) - Multiple Infinite Embraces

Description: This technique is a stronger version of Infinite Embraces and is used basically in the same manner. The user will do the Tiger → Dog → Horse → Dragon → Boar hand seals and slam his hands on the ground, creating a bigger barrier than the original technique but similar in its essence which drains the target's chakra but also pushes down on them making it much harder to break free. The massive pressure the technique puts on the target prevents the target from moving unless it has some sort of enhanced strength ability, making it very difficult to break free from it. Unable to move, the targets are also unable to mold chakra above A-Rank while having his chakra drained. The barrier can only be broken by A-Rank techniques or above or by attacking the user.
