Fact 1. Substitution works even before you're hit.
Fact 2. Substitution works even when the opponent sees it.
Fact 3. Amaterasu is no different than a standard kunai when it comes to substitution.

Dude. Stop trying to prove your idiotic posts. I'll say it again. Every ninja knows substitution jutsu. If it were as haxxed as your making it out to be, no ninja would ever die. The jutsu was used probably a grand total of 6 times thought both series.

Fact: Gaaras substitution would not have worked on lee had he not hurt himself.

Stop posting pics of ninjas who just left the academy using jutsu. That would never work on a higher level ninja.

Fact 2: Sakura made hand signs for the sub. The sharingan can read and predict hand signs...therefore, a sharingan user will see the sub coming. If you don't understand, i'll explain again: sharingan counters subs. Thanks for posting that and killing your stupid arguement.

It really is one of the most broken, underrated jutsu in the series. It's a jutsu where when you're hit after activating it (and it can be activated in less than a second, seemingly without hand signs) you can replace yourself with anything really. =No damage from said attack.

You switch places with something at the last second you can't actually get hit.

The justu is not underated it is a low level justu for beginners and if used by a skilled enough ninja then maybe it can be used to dodge something although no hihg level ninja would ever use it given that then can opt for Shunshin which lets you cover more distance and at a faster rate.

Substitution works at a fixed rate unlike shunshin and only works period if you have the perceptiona ability to time it correctly.
