4. During his fight at VOTE, Madara lost control of the kyuubi to Hashirama.
He was able to tie with sm Hashirama to a complete stalemate.

Holding Sasuke suspended in the air, limbo Hengoku cannot do that. Limbo is a clone of Madara, a Madara clone of rinnegan Madara cannot fly and hold Sasuke in place in the air.

This was limbo actually, it probably grabbed sasuke by the neck to keep him air bone. And then madara simply stabbed him

I thought it was limbo until you realize that in order for Sasuke to be suspended in the air by that technique, Madara's limbo would need to be flying and dangle Sasuke off his shirt.
