I don't see a single Beast Host, even a perfect one, measuring to the Five Shadows.


The GSB could have been equal to them even before the Sage Tools, so it's a stomp in terms of scaling.


Looking at powers, the Soul Rope drags and tosses him around, while the Word Sword can both hurt him and defend from his attacks. The Element Fan can also force him back with his beast energy armour until he runs out of juice. So powers are in their favour as well.


Also consider that teams are usually dispensed to deal with the likes of rogue tailed beasts, criminals and so on, but that was never even close to being an option against the GSB. They merely tried to get back the Sage Tools, and only succeeded with one. They, being the entire Cloud Village!
