Well I was wondering but it seems like Fujitora is not actually a df eater. More than like to me it seems like it was his sword that ate the gravity DF and not fujitora himself. Because that would explain why fujitora has been using his sword to direct gravity based attack since its inception.

What do you think?

Also while we are at it, can someone explain how non-living things eat DF's?

I mean, Law uses his DF primarily through his sword as well, but he ate it. Could just be like Law's case, but to a more extreme level. Perhaps the gravity is stronger through his sword because it's easier to focus it through it than his body.

I thought about that, but law uses his hands to create a room first!
Do you remember an instance where Fuji has used gravity by any other means?

He taps the ground.

But are you saying that his sword sliced the DF?

Like I said, it could be a more extreme case. I'm not saying it isn't possible, but I'm not buying it is all.

Yeah but that leaves my other question, how does a non-living thing eat a df?

That'll probably be explained when we finally come across Vegapunk. I wonder how Oda is gonna have Vega give us that exposition, like is he gonna be a villain monologuing, or an ally explaining?

The anime keeps showing Fuji swinging a sword every time he uses his power. Even if those are filler scenes, maybe the anime staff knows more than we do, Oda has been known to tell them some things in advance.

I think Fuji ate DF not his sword (he use his sword because he is swordsman and has just ate the DF, so he is more accustomed move use sword). Theory: about non-living thing ate DF ... CC said Smile DF is Zoan DF, so....I think non-living thing ate only Zoan DF. We have Zoan weapon: Lassoo and Funkfreed.

No.

Fujitora ate the DF. Damn, why can't people just go with him utilizing his sword in conjunction with his DF abilities

Inanimate objects, like swords, are only capable of eating ZOAN Devil Fruits

Maybe Fujitora uses a unique sword style.
It might not even be a DF power at all.

Sort of like how Kinemon can cut fire. Only leaning more towards the gravitation perspective.

He might have picked up from Wano.

No.

Kinemon's sword technique attempts to be reasoned because of the friction of the speed it causes, which creates fire. (Yes, it's bullshit, but that's how it works) which is very similar to Sanji's Diable Jambe

There is no way that his sword could work in that manner to affect gravity.

It would be okay to make that assumption for cases where he swings his sword and people are forced back by the sheer force of the strike (making it appear like gravity) but we have seen cases where he creates incredible forces of gravity by simply sheathing his sword, which would make no sense besides having a DF ability

No, i believe he ate a devil fruit. Similar to Whitebeard , how he used his earthquakes through he spear like weapon. Probably isn't ceebs using his full power against the people his come across.

I'm sure Fujitora is holding back

Non living things eat DFs because they force feed the item. In my opinion a Devil or a Spirit lives in every DF and when that DF is smashed or eaten it goes into the nearest thing. I believe Vegapunk punks the DF in a inescapable chamber before he pulls the spirit out of theDF and forces it into a gun...lastly this only happens with zoan DFs because they have conscious

He was dropping meteors while eating ramen and he wasn't wielding his sword.

That is a nice point but he could have attaracted the meteor and then kept his sword aside and started eating the ramen. But ok.

Okay, so going by this logic Laws sword must've eaten the Ope Ope no Mi? We know this isn't true, and the same applies to Issho.

For an object to use its Devil Fruit powers it must have a conscience (as Issho can't use something elses powers remotely, hence you're implying the sword has its own consciousness), the only devil fruits with a conscience are Zoans due to their animal powers.

To support this; the only objects to eat a Devil Fruit are Zoan users

Now, about the issues of confusing, concerning his sword usage. Doesn't law use his sword with everything?

Issho is no different. He simply chooses to use his sword as a platform with which to direct his gravitational forces.
